Welcome to Anfield
Does anyone feel the same way like I do, that Stamford Bridge tries to be like the Kop on European nights with all those flags? Poor effort though. All the flags are identical. Unoriginal. In fact, they were given out to the crowd by the club.
Tonight, we're gonna hand Stamford Bridge a lesson on what makes a stadium truly atmospheric. I do wish that someday I'll have the chance to stand on the Kop on European nights at Anfield, but it seems unlikely given that the new stadium is going to be completed soon sometime in the near future.
Anyway, on with business. Liverpool really need to get a clean sheet in this match. Conceding a goal would only make life harder for themselves. A goal in the first 10 minutes would really improve our chances and get the game going.
Hopefully Agger will be able to contain Drogba, he was having problems with Drogba's strength at Stamford Bridge. I'd actually like to see Hyypia, he may be slow, but he has the strength and experience to deal with Drogba.
Playing at home is always an advantage, more this is even more true at Anfield. Let's hope it'll hold true tonight.
Anfield awaits. Let's go Reds!
